About Me

Steph Gilchrist – designer, people-lover, sports fanatic and wanderlust traveler. I made North Battleford, Saskatchewan home three years ago. Today I focus on functionality and visual impact in all of my work. I love both graphic design and web design; I am excited about each new project or challenge that comes my way! I have a passion for design, along with a strong determination to continually learn and keep up with today’s design standards.

Rewinding to the beginning… I grew up in a small Saskatchewan town where I loved to play sports, spend time at the lake, and volunteer at community and school events. I graduated from high school in 2007, and began my college adventure in Lethbridge, Alberta. In April of 2009 I obtained my Multimedia Production Diploma at Lethbridge College. I have gained extensive knowledge of design programs and video authoring programs including, but not limited to: Adobe (Dreamweaver, Flash, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), Autodesk Maya, and Final Cut Studio Pro.

When I’m not designing, you can find me at Battleford Arena managing the Battlefords AAA Sharks female hockey team. Aside from work, I continue to volunteer within the community, play sports, spend time at the lake and travel. From the people and local businesses, to the wide variety of events and activities, I believe The Battlefords is the perfect mix of work and play.

Outgoing, confident and motivated are a few ways to describe me. I am comfortable working in a team environment or individually;  possess strong communication skills and superior time management skills. I am affluent with both the Mac and PC operating systems, and with many design and editing programs. If you have a new media project in mind, share your ideas with me!
